May Days - When to book a Follow-Up Consultation

In North Carolina we've been experiencing the ups and downs of weather with fog, hail, rain, tornados and sunshine.  Needless to say, my favorite is the sunshine.  We have a gaggle of goslings that hatched last week and I'm enjoying my mornings on the porch watching them waddle past.

What are you looking forward to this Summer?  We already have healthy popsicles and herbal iced tea going.  Two of our current recipes we'll include below for you to try your hand at making.

This month I wanted to address when to book a Follow-Up Consultation appointment with me.  If you have already had an Initial Consultation appointment and have a sample envelope sent in, you can book a Follow-Up Consultation when recommended; if you are having any new issues, or if it's simply been a while and you want to get back on track.

Follow-Up Consultations are used to make sure you are achieving your health and wellness...

COVID Time Warp

Hello beautiful and healthy people!

It's been a year since my last blog but it feels like it was just yesterday.  Where is the time going?  I've been calling it, the COVID Time Warp.

COVID has changed the landscape for work, family, health and well, EVERYTHING.  I know, I know, you're tired of hearing about it, reading about it and thinking about it.  Believe me, I am too.  But there has been some bright lights for the past year.  I've been keeping extremely busy, but I like that.

If I haven't heard from you in awhile, feel free to send me an email or quick text to just let me know how you are doing.

Life-Thyme Solutions has been adapting, shifting and changing along with everyone else.  We've had some changes and in this blog I aim to give you all the updates.

So, there is first and foremost an address change.  I am still in lusciously green North Carolina - because I love it here.  But I've moved!...

Working From HOME

I hope this finds everyone safe and sound.  These are difficult times, but they are not hopeless times.  Just like you, I have had friends, family and clients who have gone through COVID-19 scares.  Thankfully no one I know has died.

My heart goes out to those who have experienced dealing with death during this time - whether from the frontlines or with your own household.

My mom was in the ICU for 3 days (she is okay now) and my dad had an ER visit and came home with a nebulizer.  It's been scary.  Many of the practitioners I work with have shared they've experienced COVID symptoms but were unable to get tested.  Some have ended up in the hospital, or diagnosed by their primary care doctor, with pneumonia.

In my consulting practice, clients have had pneumonia symptoms and urgent care diagnoses since late November and I wonder how many of those may have been this virus?  I have no idea when we will know the truth but I do...

Healthy Herbal Garden - Welcome May!

May is finally here with warmer weather and everything is coming up GREEN!  I love this time of year because the song birds are singing and the weather is beautiful.  This is a picture of one of my container herb gardens this year.  Fresh herbs can be simply grown no matter how much gardening space you have.  I love to cook with fresh organic herbs so I hope you are are planting your own to enjoy.

This is also the time to remember to support your local farmers' market and/or sign up for your local CSA.  You can go here: CSA DIRECTORY and find out what Community Supported Agriculture (farms) you have around you.  If you have a Biodynamic farm around you all the better.  These special farms are based on the teaching of Rudolf Steiner and I feel blessed we have this availability in Eugene, Oregon.

Right now, what is in season at the Farmers' Market is everything GREEN.  Green onions, green lettuces...
